ABOUT
The Vivo Center Studio
Founded in 2015, VIVO CENTER is a non-profit association active in promoting, training and developing contemporary dance, with a special focus on young people, artistic growth and the creation of professional opportunities in the field. It is based in Rome, in the historic Trieste district, and develops training, artistic and project programs aimed at dancers, choreographers and dance professionals.
Under the artistic direction of Giulia Mancini, the center represents a place of consolidation and experimentation of contemporary dance open to professional dancers and aspiring professionals. A point of reference in the sector which sees the continuous involvement of both choreographers and performers of international level.
OUR CORNER OF
ROME
VIVO CENTER’s headquarters, located in Rome in the historic Trieste district, is a compact space entirely dedicated to the association’s activities. The center has two rooms, sized to host small groups and encourage a careful approach focused on work quality, the relationship with instructors, and the individual enhancement of participants. This scale makes it possible to develop training, artistic, and project activities in a professional, inclusive setting, oriented toward the personal and professional growth of each participant.
THE STUDIO
VIVO CENTER is the permanent base and home of the FLYOUT Transition Company: a welcoming space entirely devoted to the company’s daily work, from training to rehearsals, from creative processes to production preparation. The center has two studios, with capacity for up to 14 and 8 dancers respectively, as well as two changing rooms and a shared area for breaks and time together. A scale designed to foster continuity, focus, and a strong sense of belonging to the company’s life.
